My son came last week...we sure enjoyed this....talking, watching movies, walking, shopping, & eating.  Felt so good to be w/each other like this, had been awhile, other visits had been very short & not sleepovers so this was special.  Gave him some early birthday presents which was special to be able to see his enjoying them.   Miss him very much.

Am enjoying this great weather we are having, sunny &  80s.  Good weather thru weekend may have some rain Sun morn.  Some dogwoods are blooming.  Saw a couple rabbits in back, birds just a singing especially that one day after rain during day & night...must have been singing thank yous for the rain.  Guess u can tell spring weather & blooms take away those winter doldrums I had, thank God.

Hoping u all have a great Easter!

Take care.  God bless u & yours,

Joan

Hi Joan. How wonderful that you had that special time with your DS. I am sure you will have many happy memories to keep.

I am also glad to see Spring has finally arrived. My snowball and lilac bushes have new shoots and tiny green leaves and its sunny and warm. Yea! lol

Have a wonderful day!

How great to have an extended visit with him, I can "hear" your smiles in your words.

I cleaned up the dead plants in our front shrub/perennial yard and was so happy to see that the peonies have made it through their 2nd winter. Guess they're here to stay. Am hoping to see some life i the purple Asters I planted last fall. I never got to mulch over them because it was warm way into Nov., then turned nasty until March. They don't look as if they've heaved out of the ground, so I'm hopeful.
