As previously posted we have had to turn off the water due to a leak in the pipe. So now we have buckets near the toilets for flushing. TG for our water tanks. We would really be up the creek if we didnt have this. They are not very big tanks, we never expected to use them for this. Where we live is in Suburbia, so this is not the sort of thing that we would expect. We are used to running water, electricity, gas, all the modern cons. I always remember, when we came out here in 1962, my parents went to live just outside Bendigo. My Mother had gone from an all electric kitchen in London, to a night cart and a combustion stove. If she can do it, so can I!...the power of women.

So, Ladybugs when you flush the toilet or shower or boil the kettle for coffee, think of me, without these things. We are running out of drinking water for coffee! :( We cant use the tanks for that. What next?

Oh, the joys of civilization...lol.
