We are back from OK. Where everynight we slept with the windows and fans going and one night the A/C. Home I have the furnace on and Del had to scrape frost off the windows on the little car this morning...
Our DD#2 is doing great. Her surgery was on the 26th, and we brought her home on the afternoon of the 27th. Then on Wed. she had one drain tube removed and will get the other one out today. She was lifting her arm above her head with ease. Walking a lot, her and her dad would drink sometimes 2 pots of coffee a day...She was eating well. And unless I would scold she was doing anything she wanted. I didn't let her sweep but she probably could have...
If we didn't have to stop anywhere we could get down there in probably about 8½ hours but, you have to stop for gas once. We stopped for breakfast, then stopped at a rest stop in KS fill the car in concordia and got a sandwich. Then came on home. So it took us about 10 hours. We were tired Del went to bed about 7 and I went about 9. Pager goes off at 6:30 this morning for the ambulance so it was a good thing we had some good sleep..
He is going to work today putting some new desks together and I am going to the doctor.....probably stress and not eating right but my blood sugar was very high 3 mornings in a row....and I think with all their trees blooming and budding down there the tree pollen was very high, I think I have allergy/sinus I know there is some infection in there. Guess some bad has to come with the bad....but whatever was blooming down there was Heavenly to smell .
They both smoke even though DD said she is going to really try to quit. I am not used to that anymore I went to put my c-pap on last night and had to go wash it because it smelled like an old bar...I really didn't think it was that bad with the breeze blowing in all the time.....but I guess it was.....I never cough anymore but both of use are .....probably be gone in a couple days.
Anyway we had a good trip and a little because Del drove for a living for almost 40 years and partly because his eyes are not as good as they once were, I do the driving.
I hate construction but the worst road we had was back in Ne. We took a back way home and those roads are paved country roads and they are really in bad shape....
Well better get dressed to go to the doc....
Then I better make me a new tag.....at least I won't have to do a summer one for a while yet.....if ever this year......lol

Retired and lovin'it.

Janet, it's nice to hear you had a great trip.
