He escaped!

Sometime yesterday Gage managed to slip out of the house.  Just after dinner I asked where he was.  Around 9 I did the 'treat' word, but no Gage.  We had heard a cat scream a bit earlier.  When we checked outside, he was sitting on the lower deck.  He has a bite on his shoulder that we treated.  He was hungry.

This cat weighs about 16# an is about 14# high.  He isn't fat.  I guess he met up with one of the ferral toms that hang around.  They have more experience.  Gage isn't moving much today.  He's really just licking his wounds.  We are watching him.  Maybe it'll cure him of trying to get out.  My majoy concerns are big critters and cars.  He should be OK.  He's had all his shots.

DD and her friend are having a huge garage sale this weekend.  R started looking around and found several things she is going to put in.  I have very little.  Friend has trailers of stuff to add and DD has cleaned up quite a bit.  It will be Fri and Sat.  Like all good sales, on Sat afternoon they'll be putting misc items in a bag and selling them.  It's a trick I learned from an auctioneer who did estate sales.

Have to get ready for my conference call.  Have a great day.
