Hi Ladybugs.  I am just about to throw my Rival Crockpot into the trash.  I think I got a lemon.  Even when it's turned on low it cooks fast.  What kind of crockpot do you use?  I am going to shop for one tomorrow.

It was a beautiful day here, thanks to Deb. She sent the sunshine my way!  I was out and about all day, running here and there, getting lots done. I had to find 2 dresses for upcoming weddings, plus shower and wedding gifts.  I am happy to say that I found it all!! Whooppiee!!

DH is at a meeting so I am going to just sit back and relax, watch Am. Idol and see what 2 contestants get kicked off.  I think it's going to be Katie and Andrew.  What do you think?

I hope you all have a great evening.....!!

Shari I don't have a crockpot suggestion. I don't even own one. I'm not a big fan of Rival products anyway.

Glad you got

Shari, I also have a Rival....matter of fact, I think the one I have now is the 3rd Rival I've had since I got married......and I have never had a problem with the brand.

I am not a crock pot fan the only time I use them is if I am going to have a bunch of people for soup and need to keep it hot....

I don't like the meat that is cooked in them or anything else.. They are heavy and bulky to deal with.

For me, I have better luck when I need to cook slowly I use my Nesco roaster. I have a 6 and a 12 QT.......and can use my DMILs 18QT if needed my DSIL and I pass it back and forth....haven't had to use it for years though.....Used to do my turkey in it every year.

Sorry I can't be of any help.....

Hi Shari - my current slow cooker is a Hamilton Beach. I like it because it comes with 3 removable bowls (2, 4, 6 quart), so it's much easier to clean and lets you pick the bowl size to go along with the quantities you're cooking. It does cook faster than the older models I've had. It has warm, low and high speeds

Sorry Shari, mine is a Rival and works great. No complaints here. I bought one for my bff's new DIL for a shower gift and it was all "fancy schmancy" but I dont' remember the brand name...maybe Hamilton Beach. I do like that the newer ones have the removable inserts. They are much more user friendly.

Good luck!
