It felt good to sleep in today. Yesterday,  I rode to work with DDIL and then when we got home we went for a nice walk.  DH walked a while with us also.  Some of the family is going to walk Crazy Horse in June so we have to get into shape walking.

Today the weather looks to be great and I'll go for another walk. As I mentioned before,it felt good to sleep in today.  I had a good night's sleep.

I have some things to do at the shop of course.  Basically clear off the pile I left last Saturday before we headed up shopping.  I hope to come home by mid afternoon and clear off my flower bed.  We'll see.

The rest of the week will be work at The nursing home and then heading down to the SE part of the state for my consulting..  I'm thinking about pulling the plug on my travelling.  It's almost too much.

I'll mull it over for a few days.

My Aunt is still in Paris as far as I know with the volcanic ash still pretty heavy over there.  and hopefully she'll be back in the next couple of days.

Cora had a spill on her "bike" and had to go to ER for stitches.  She ended up with three on the top of her head. It was  a traumatic time for mom, dad and Kevin.  Cora did not like the ordeal at all!  She was showing me her stitches on the phone last night.  (smile)

The weather is great in SD now.  The farmers are harvesting last year's crop (because of the bad winter)  They are also planting.  The temp may be in the 70's.  Sunny and very little wind.  You can't beat this kind of weather.  I'm so glad spring is here!

Same fantastic weather here. We often go from Winter to Summer with very little Spring. This year we are having lots of days in high 60s, which makes it very inviting to work outside.

I smiled about your considering quitting the travel. People ask me when I knew it was time to retire. I told them I got up one Winter day and faced driving in an ice storm to work and said I was done with that routine. No regrets here.

Poor, poor, little Cora!
I can appreciate the "ordeal",
as that's how I feel when things like that happen.

I don't believe that we are in a tornado watch this afternoon. Most of the time we have to get into the 80s for a day or 2 before it can storm. We haven't been out of the 60s for quite a while.
But we have a storm watch tonight till 8pm. It has been raining most of the day.

Our friends were pouring cement and sometimes if there is some left over you can get it if you let them rince the truck. So Del formed a piece from the house to the garage and they poured that yesterday afternoon and it rained on it all night and today....hope it set...I did get the date into it though...

We are going to the camper Monday. Del has an eye appointment on the 29th and maybe he can get that stuff taken out. We will probably have to go to Sioux City to do that......but I hope not.

Hope you get all your walks in I sure wish I could do that.
