Got up here Monday. Had to go to town to get water....I use it for making my coffee and it is one of those things that I can't drink away from home....I know picky again.
Then Tuesday back into town for a few groceries. Wed. morning Del had an appointment with his eye doctor who comes to Yankton from Sioux City. He also goes to Norfolk which is nice because since they put the interstate through Sioux City it is the pits driving over there.
But there was good news. The glob that was blocking his vision in the right eye had moved and he could actually read 4 lines below what he did in O'Neill the other day. I know it made him feel very good.
But since we got up here he has been doing things that need to be done but not life threatening...I try to tell him that we have time to get those things done , so he kind of got miffed at me and went and helped the neighbors do things. Most of them are getting their new tvs and other stuff that was taken in the breakins...
He finally went fishing today but it is supposed to rain tomorrow so we will go get some lumber so he can build a rail to keep the patio furniture from banging into the slide out.
We are wondering if it is really ever going to warm up. Good grief already.
I am tired of the 60s I want some 70s for a while.....lol
I know, I know in a month or so I will complain about the heat.........lol
They came yesterday and hooked up my internet. This time I have a wireless modem. I never move the laptop anyway but I can now if I want...lol also up here I opt for the faster speed. It costs about an extra $10 a month but it sure makes a difference.....downolad in a snap rather than a snooze....lol.. I have high speed at home too but not like this....

Retired and lovin'it.

Janet I can't believe it's that time again.
Wireless is great.
Then we wonder why we don't feel well the temp change is hard on us.
If you are going to be down this way you will have to yell maybe we can meet somewhere.....
Have a nice day !.
My Mama always say that you can't count on warm weather until after Mother's Day and I've found that to be pretty accurate.
