Good morning, Ladybugs and Happy May Day!!! Since April showers bring May flowers, let me ask you this---what is your favorite flower?? Oh, I would definetely have to say ROSES....love them--in any color. But, sadly, I've never had any luck in growing them, mainly because the deer love them, too!!
So, what is happening to you this month? Are you celebrating anything special? Birthday? Anniversary? Going to a Graduation? Wedding?
No birthdays or anniversaries here. No graduations or weddings. But I do have several bridal showers and the first one is today.
We have company coming toward the end of the month...so have to get ready for them. The whole upstairs needs to be painted so am hoping that gets done before the Shariton opens for the summer. LOL
I'm also hoping that the weather stays just the way it is....right now, it's b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l!!!! Hope it's nice where you are, too!!!

Ellen from E Wa here. Other than Mother's day, not much going on this month. My brother and his wife have their anniversary on the 29th, which is also one of my niece's birthday. We are gearing up for my daughter's graduation in June.
It has been gloomy, rainy and windy here the last few days. The rain held off today for Bloomsday in Spokane but it has been windy. They are calling for gusts up to 60 mph tomorrow. I am really getting tired of it.
I have a lot of things in bloom right now - forsythia, daffodils all over the place, poppies and tulips. The native mock orange is in bloom as well. I moved a rhubarb plant this morning and planted one of my lilacs before my back started complaining. Three more to find places for.
Irises and lilies are probably my favorite flowers as they don't take much work. I love roses as well but they take a bit more work. Most of mine are close to 20 years old and probably need to be replaced. Now if the weather would only cooperate!

My favorite flower is the lilac.
Happy May, Shari!
I know this one will be hard for you too. Just try to remember you have a Mom and you are still a Mom to a great son. Let them both know how much you love and appreciate them. Be grateful for the ones you have hon.
Here's a big IL hug....(((((Pam)))))
It's certainly May showers here. It's bucketing down.
I'm still here, have been busy with family stuff, but I'm still here...

BB, from Georgia, and my favorite flower is the pansy -- love their little "faces."
I just realized I have been remiss in the roll call! Of course, it could be for a reason.
To start the month off we had Dgd#1 2nd birthday on the 3rd. But the party was on the 1st.
Of course, Mother's day is coming up. Luckily, I am off that day.
But after Mother's day, my life will be so topsy turvy, that I may just have to have a nervous breakdown. I just have to keep telling myself that the good Lord is in the lead and things will work out. But the anxiety of the unknown is so hard to deal with.
The weather has turned cool here for the next few days but it is beautiful. Hope every one has a good month.ellie-mite, Panama City Fl.
