Bare footin'
| Wed, 05-05-2010 - 12:28pm |
We're gonna reach 90 today for the first time this season. I've kicked off my shoes and am "bare footin'. I strutted to the mailbox, stepped on a rock which almost brought me to my knees - I'm still a tender-foot at this point. Ouch!
I'm VERY anxious to see my family this weekend.
We're partyin' at Mom's on Sat. night to celebrate 3 family birthdays and also Mother's Day. Lots I'd like to get done here before we take off on Friday.
I hope all of you have a wonderful Mother's Day.
I am blessed to still have my Mom.
(((Hugs))) to those of you who do not.

Wish I could go barefoot. Our 2 cats drag pieces of litter all over the house. I've actually had it get stuck in the skin, then a painful callous for over it - kinda like an oyster making process.
But - I did get my toenails painted in time for wearing sandals to a family doing last Sunday. One of my big toenails is missing, from some surgery in the past. I'm wondering about all those glue on toenails I'm seeing on the racks. Has anyone used these?

I think we hit 90* here today also.
Yep Deb, I've been barefootin' too. But still tender footed, so I do my flip flops. Have a wonderful time with your family. So glad you are getting to get together with your Mom.
(((hugs)) SS
Hope you have a great time with your Mom and your family, Wish I still had my mom its been a loooong time.
Safe trip.
Have not been able to walk barefoot outside in yrs & do not even inside.
Take care. God bless u & yours,
Joan
I guess that's why God invented shoes....lol
Enjoy your Mother's Day weekend!!!! Give your Mom a BIG hug from me...!!!
I didn't know if I should pick the unhappy emoticon or the venting emoticon....it's 45* here and my tootsies are freezing!!! I'm SO sick of wearing shoes and socks...I hate them! My toes need to be aired out and my white legs need to see sun! It won't happen tomorrow as we're expecting thunderstorms all day. Better go dig out my winter Merrills, my socks and a sweatshirt to wear to work tomorrow!
Think of me....
Deb, I can relate to the 90 degree weather.
