Hi Lady bugs, hope you are having a nice day today. I haven't done hardly anything to day. Lack of energy. My pancytopenia has really gotten worse and my white blood count is at a dangerous low count. So now getting B-12 shots. They taught my D/H do give them to me then at home.( help!!). I go back to the cancer doctor and if it hasn't changed or has gotten worse then it's a bone marrow biopsy. I never have been a brave person and I don't think I'm going to start now. I don't think I can lay still fully awake while they drill in to my hip bone. They only give a topical anesthetic. They don't even give you something to relax you, but I have meds here at the house that will help me through this.
One of our big attractions here on the beach, a big restaurant called the treasure ship burned down last week. It was built like and old ship. Been there for forty years. 150 workers out of work. The owners have no plans of rebuilding. If that wasn't bad enough our Sally Mae center is closing with the loss of another 750 jobs.
And now with this oil slick hanging over us the motels and hotels are having cancellations come in left and right. The new airport opens here may 23. Even they are reporting cancellations coming in. It's really a mess on the employment scene.
We don't live in a flood zone but every one else who lives on this street is. Haven't figured it out yet. 8 days ago we got hit with 5 inches of rain but then within 3 day's after that we got 15 inches of rain. The water was real deep. We were lucky. We live right next to a lake/dam and other people lost their homes because of the rain. They opened the flood gates a the dam but it was a little to late to help some. But I am very thank for the very little that did happen here compared to other place's.
Trying to get ready for my mother-n-law visit. Haven't seen her in 5 year's.
Well go to go ladies, time for my fur babies to fertilize the yard and take my pills. Have a good one!!!!!( PS. the new roof is a blessing. No leaks....

Ellie, if you have to have the bone marrow test, can you take in a CD player and head phones?
