to get annual Spring household chores done. Living room drapes are in the dryer and will go up later. Then I must play dutiful helper while DH cleans the indoor part of our ductless A/C system, prior to the tech arriving Fri. AM for annual refrigerant check. Good thing, though, because humidity is going up - it feels like a jungle outside already. Finally found something which actually cleans the dust off - Pledge wipes. The Swiffer thingy just couldn't grab the dust from the cat litter which settles like concrete.

The driveway/walk construction kept me way too busy. Love the new sidewalk, but sick of hearing DH complain about me getting dirt on it when I work in the yard.

Friday will be my relax day before big graduation & party on Sat. Have had no luck finding new outfit to wear to convocation ceremonies. Well, one of the advantages of age is realizing no one cares what I'm wearing. Years ago I worked for a hi-tech company with a hippy boss. When we were expecting important visitors, we asked what to wear. His email response - "as long as genitals are covered, wear what you want" - LOL. I always remember than when I'm fretting about what to put on.

Sorry I've not been replying, just snowed under.

Oh yeah it's that time. Dh cleaned our A/C unit. We had water problems..eeew.. He had to clean it with clorox. Then he poured it down in the fan area. The whole house smelled like Clorox.

It's our DSs(40) - took him 20 years to get, he dropped out to start a business, raise a fam, etc. Now he hopes to use his BS to get a job teaching Jr. Hi Science. He digs teens.

Weather is looking great and both convocation & our party are indoors on Sat anyway.

We have ductless A/C units mounted on the wall in each room, which makes it fun too clean. DH has to unscrew the front plate & dig out the gunk. I keep the mold problem in check by spraying inside with Lysol mold spray regularly.

The weather forecast settled the outfit issue for me. The jacket I wanted was lined white twill. Put that over a shirt and I'd be roasting in all 3 layers - temps going to mid 70s. Am wearing same flowered light weight dress in my profile pix. The dress has turned into my packable, danceable outfit - it better hold up for a long time. I guess if it falls apart, I'll turn it into a pattern & create a new one. It's actually a relief - I kept wondering where else I'd wear the jacket, now that I'm not in the work world. Clothes for the party will definitely be casual.
