Popping in while I have a cup of tea. DH is out getting balloons for DSs party, then we will head over to help with decorations. Convocation this morning was lovely - so much better than the Universitywide graduation would have been. DS looked so solemn in his cap & gown, then he walked across the stage & I saw he was wearing his fav walking shoes & jeans underneath. I'll bet there was a tie dyed shirt under there also.
Worst part of the morning was finding the ceremonies started 30 min. earlier than I had on the calendar - I was just about to shower when I looked at the tickets. Yikes - no shower, but we made it. His MIL had the same problem and was sure that DS have originally told them 10:30 also. So, now I'm off to clean up for the party. No one even notices my ratty looking hair - it's how the kids wear it anyway:).
Oh yum! That kuchen looks great...I love it and you just don't see it around much anymore. I also like spinach lasagna...so much better than regular lasagna IMHO.
I'm so sorry things are so messed up with your Dad. That's just not right. I too wish both your Mom and Dad could be moved up by you. I know it would put your mind at ease.
I like wave petunias too but they seem to get so "leggy" for me by around mid-summer. I usually stay with impatiens too. I haven't planted anything yet but next weekend looks to be promising weather so maybe I can get after it then. My yard is a mess right now.

Poor Dad.
I know you worry about him and the fact that you don't think anyone is helping much must be double worrisome.
I think I already said Good morning to you in another post, but here it is again:
you are too kind about my picture taking. LOL

Nice pictures, Donna, the last one looks like a post card, it's so pretty!
I know you're worried about your Dad (I would be too), and I hope Joan can get things straightened out.

I ended up folding laundry and visiting with DD on the phone.
