One week of pain and no sleep

Mon. I stopped in at a produce place to pick up some rhubarb.  I went to move my arm and winced.  The lady grabbed my arm and pressed a place in my elbow.  I thought I had a pinched nerve, but it turned out to be a compressed nerve.  I had been rubbing in the wrong spot. The lady is a physical therapist. She said I had to rub it out.  After a week I can finally open my arm straight.  The pain has kept me awake nights.  It's been interesting trying to carry my 7# light for work.

Sat. I volunteered at Noah's Ark.  It is a wildlife refuge.  Some of the animals wander the grounds.  It was the most peaceful I've been in more than a year.  I was sitting on a bench talking with another volunteer when she reached out and held my arm.  She said, "You're safe." This is quite a thing to say with the wild ones roaming free.  She said that there was a snake behind me.  I took one giant step for K and looked behind me.  There was a 4' snake calmly making his way across the trail.  We babysat it until it went into a hollow in a tree.  All animals are safe at this place.  I'm going back in 2 weeks.

Fri. I attended a senior event where I asked every booth person if they knew of a marketing position open.  I got some interest.  The assisted living opening is still available.

Take care,

Hugs,

I hope your pain is subsiding....!! Nothing worse than that sharp sensation nagging at you all the time, especially when you're trying to sleep!

Well, I don't know about being "safe" with a snake right behind you!! I'd be outta there mighty quickly!
