Just dropping by to say hello to you all. Had a very busy weekend. Saturday was DD2's "baccalaureate" ceremony, only they don't call it that anymore. It is now called "Visions". I enjoyed the program. The speaker was a 2005 graduate school who has started her own successful import/export business. Imagine! She has only been out of high school for five years.
The ceremony was followed by a grand reception. Plenty of good food, including cake. Yummmm!
I have just one big fear. The program was August 15th; the announcements DD2 designed and I sent out had the wrong date. I fear that nobody goes to that school on the 22nd at 9:00 a.m. because the corrected announcements were not printed. Oh dear!
Anyway, all she does is go to school for half days to rehearse for the graduation ceremony to and participate in other senior activities. There will be a cookout. I asked if I could come for barbecue and was told, "Only if you pay". As if I have not paid lots over the course of the past four years. LOL.

Such a wonderful exciting time for all of you Dannie.
Hope everyone shows up! LOL
What'samadda, Dannie?
Well, not a lot of the folks we invited to Visions showed up, and that is why I am nervous.
I have to continuously spellcheck "baccalaureate" to make sure I have it right.
I imagine I shock Miss Shari quite often, because I forget to do spell check!
"Visions", huh?
Guess it doesn't matter what they call it just as long as it gets the job done.
Such a wonderful and busy time for you and the graduate.
Dannie, please give DD a hug from me.
