Guess what I found in my mailbox?

I went to get the mail this afternoon and much to my surprise there was a plaster Paw Print of Kramer which was from my Vet's office.  So touching to see his print, and yes it has made me a bit teary once again.  Strange how something like this brings back raw emotion.  I'm delighted to have it and have placed it in my Curio cabinet in his memory.

I think this is so thoughtful of my Vet and his staff.
I've never been in this situation before - is this a typical thing to expect from your Vet?  Just wondering.

Hope everyone has beautiful weather and weekend plans to match!

Deb, that is a really sweet thing your vet did.

What a sweet and thoughtful Vet you have Deb. That's a wonderful thing to do. When Buddy had his surgery, his vet called the next day to follow up and check on him to see how he was doing. That's about as thoughtful as I have experienced.

I had already received a nice card from the staff (they had all signed it) right after Kramer passed.

I have received cards from my vet when I lost my purr babies, but never anything quite so personal or touching as a plaster paw print.
