Well graduation has come and gone. Last night we attended graduation exercises for DD2. It was a great ceremony. The speeches by the valedictorian and the salutatorian were very inspirational and they did not go on and on as some tend to do.
DD2 really enjoyed herself. My DMom, DD1, Dniece, Dnephew, and one of my DSIS, along with her brothers (my stepsons) were there along with members of their families were all there, along with some family friends.
Pictures will be posted later on.
Now I am off to work. College classes start in three months and even with scholarships, I need to start socking the money away.
Be back later,
Dannie

Yay Dannie!!!! Congratulations to "S" and to your whole family. What a very proud moment for you. I know you were bursting at the seams with pride. You done good girlfriend! Is your DD working this summer or taking the summer off?
Take care and big hugs...
Here I am cheering your DD on and ringing my Cow Bell for her! (that's what I always do at Graduations)
Thanks to all of you for your kind words.
Your baby girl must have been tickled pink to have so many of her family there for her! What a grand time it must have been for you all. Wear that smile of pride proudly, dear friend! You've more than earned the right!!
The possibility of making some money doing modeling sounds fantastic, as long as it wouldn't get in the way of her schooling!
How grand that the other gal you mentioned has begun to get her life back together. Perhaps this graduation will be just one in a series of steps she is willing to take to get control of her life once again, and get beyond what that predator did to her.
Menopause & Perimenopause Board

Oh, she knows that school has to come first so that she can keep that scholarship.
Dannie, you and
K
