This & That

I know many of you are dealing with rainy weather today - hope it hasn't entirely messed up any of your plans.  It is sunny and nice here, but the rain is scheduled to begin here tonight.

We've had a quiet weekend doing things at our own pace.  DH is always a bit blue on this holiday as he misses the big Buger Bash with all the family which we used to have each year before we moved. . .Saturday we took a drive into Arkansas to see "Old Washington" .  I just recently bought dh a GPS and we had fun letting "her" make all the calls to get us there and back.

Sunday was the annual Crawfish Boil at our church.
Great weather and the kids all have great fun with all the water bouncies the church has brought in.  Hamburgers & Hotdogs for those of us who don't "do crawfish".  YUK!

Today we're gonna go see a movie, not for sure which one.
Then go out for dinner.Nothing big and exciting, but still very pleasant.

I am thinking of a couple of guys we went to highschool with who did not come back from Viet Nam.  They were young and never really had a chance to experience life.  What great sacrifice and I will never forget them, Robert and Gary.  Also thinking of my Dad and dh's Dad who served in WWII.  There are not many of them left now.  We must always remember.

Have a great day Girls!

Deb, my friend was telling me about what she described as a very moving special that was sung at her church Sunday. The title was "More Than a Name on a Wall". I don't think I have ever heard the song, but I think the title kind of says it all.--Pat
