on Sat. when I was at Noah's Ark.  www.noah-ark.org will let you know what kind of wild life is there.  Mr. & Mrs. Smith are a pair of tigers.

I met my first ignorant comment.  One woman thought the male lion didn't have a mane because we shaved it off due to the heat.  He doesn't have a mane because he had to be fixed and it didn't grown in.  He's part of the lion, tiger & bear trio.  I told her the reason and said that lions come from Africa and it is a lot hotter there than here.  One of the handlers went into the space between the two fences and the trio came out to great him.  It was nice seeing the tiger and lion rub up against the bear.

DGD #5 was three yesterday.  DD is having her birthday party in a few weeks.  Grand #7 will be baptized next Sat.

DS has decided to go with another company.  While his doesn't have much work, this other company is getting a truck for him and he'll earn about $1000 a week more.  It will make me feel better when I can move.

I just finished a great book by Barbara Kingsolver titled "The Poisonwood Bible."  It is the story of a family that goes to Africa in 1959.

I'm not sure how the bold got in here.  Maybe I need some magic dust!

DD & family are at a friends today where the grands will get to ride horses.

Hugs,

Sounds like the typical fun goings on for your family, Karen. Aren't you blessed to have those grandbabies?! I hope your DSs job is one he will truly enjoy.--Pat
