June is busting out all over....:) Hello Ladybugs and welcome June 1010. What's happening this month? Weddings? Graduations? Birthdays or anniversaries...we want to hear it all!
I have 2 weddings to attend this month. DD is a bridesmaid in one of them.(I think this is number 20)
We are going to try to get to Nags Head for a few days, still working on that project.
Other than that....just the regular activities....

I've always been the only family member with a birthday in June. That will change mid month when our latest GrGrD arrives. I'm hoping she's a little bit early and arrives on my birthday. That way I won't need to work so hard to remember yet another birthday.
No travel planned. After the last 6 weeks of construction related work, I intend to make June a ME month. Bike riding, library trips, swim dates with the grands (new suit is ordered). I may do the unthinkable thing of laying out in the sun for a short while just to feel like a teen again. Where's the Coppertone? LOL. DH's model train buddy will be here for a few days later in the month. The guys are taking a day trip to a museum in St Louis, so I'll have the house to myself.
Sadly, the rain arrived in full force last night, will be here off & on for next 3 days, so will catch up on some sewing. At least I don't need to drain the rain barrel to keep the garden wet. Our first tomato is about the size of a quarter - whoo hoo. Now that's summer eating (unless the squirrels get it first). Also have a few chick flick rentals I need to catch up on.

Jackie here. No big plans but DGS Fred turns 21 this month! Wow! Now THAT makes me feel old! lol
Hugs, Jackie
Take care.
Take care. God bless u & yours,
Joan
Wasn't there a movie out there about a bridesmaid and all her dresses?
Right now I'm thinking boring is good. Enough with all the rushing around here. I took a nap today with a cat on my chest and didn't feel the least bit guilty. Am going to watch one of the rental movies later before I must return it.
We are on baby watch tonight - DGrD went for checkup and BP was very high. MD had her go for lab work and then will decide if it's time for baby girl to arrive. This would be 3 weeks early, but DGrD is a small lady and has wound up on bed rest for the first 2 babies. I love that the family & friends are all on FB. It's like a big party line where we can keep track of everything.

Shirley here from Georgia. Not much going on this month for us. We are on vacation this first week.
Hi all, Jill here in Ark where it's hot and there's an apparent horsefly invasion - YUK. Of course I'm late as usual with no chance of catching up - story of my life lately!
This month no birthdays etc.
Wow Jill...I can't believe your garden is already yielding such bountiful goodies! People are just now planting gardens up here in No. IL! We don't get garden fresh produce until Aug. :-( Such a long wait.
At least we're finally getting some warmer weather now.
Hi Ladybugs,
Wow, we're already a whole week into June and I'm just getting to roll call. Yikes! Dance lessons are continuing. I have tickets to a couple of our concerts in the botanic gardens. We're in a break between little boy baseball seasons, but practice will start up again next week. DGS celebrated his eighth birthday yesterday. DD and DSiL have their third anniversary this month. DB also has a birthday this month, but that is only a phonecall to sing the song. He will be competing the end of this month with the barbershop singing group he belongs to and I will be travelling to Philadelphia for the competition as part of a week of vacation.
We jumped right into summer here. It is hot with highs coming very close to the 100 degree mark this past week. Any of you northern bugs who are still looking to thaw out just need to come to Texas for a day or two LOLOL! Checking in from the sunny state..
Hugs,
Melissa
