Hi Ladybugs. We've returned from our wkend jaunt over to Frederick, MD for the wedding of the DD of one of our friends. It was a beautiful wedding, aren't they all? So that's one down and two more to come. One next week and one in Sept. Fortunately we don't have to travel very far for them.
The wedding in Frederick was held in an old mansion. The ceremony itself was outside. The bride and groom had just been pronounced man and wife when the raindrops began to fall....perfect timing! The bride is becoming an instant mommy to 5 yr. old Nia. The groom had been married before to a girl from Nicaragua. The couple then adopted a little girl from the country. After a few yrs the bride decided that she didn't want to be a)married b)a mother c) an American. So we left her husband and child and returned to her country! The little girl is very sweet but WOW she was wound up tight last night. She is already calling Pam, the new bride, Mommy...so cute..
We are under a tornado watch this evening. Doesn't happen often here. It is awful what the weather is doing around the country, isn't it?
Please keep my brother, Larry, in your prayers. He had a radiator explode while he was working on a car and he got burns on his face, shoulders, and arms. He's in a burn center in Fla.
Big hugs to all

Shari the wedding sounded lovely. Yep, they all are. So good to see a couple in love just beginning. Hope this works out for the groom.
The tornados are so bad this year. Especially in the midwest.
Shari, prayers for your brother.

Hi Shari! Dont you just love weddings? New beginnings and all that.
Of course I'll keep Larry in my prayers. How awful!
Hugs, Jackie
VERY SORRY to hear about your brother!
Do you know how serious his burns are?
Awful!
Keep us updated.
Weddings are always beautiful.
Sounds like the Groom really had a bad experience with his first wife.
Shari, the wedding sounded very nice!
Oh Shari...I'm so sorry to hear about your brother's accident. That sounds horrible. I'll keep him on my prayer list and please keep us updated on his condition. Gosh, I didn't know a radiator could do that!
The wedding sounds lovely...I love when a couple picks an unusual setting for a wedding. That's one lucky little girl to have a new Mommy who loves her so much.
The wedding sounds wonderful - little Nia must have been about ready to burst with joy.
So
Shari, I am just now seeing this post, sorry to be so late responding.
Thanks BB,
BTW, I found a picture of the two of us...
