Sat. DGD #7 was baptized. DD made her gown and I think it was the prettiest one yet. #7 didn't even cry when she had the water poured over her forehead. The asst. pastor called all the kids around. The godparents have 5 so there were 12 kids altogether. After we went to DD/DSIL's house for lunch. It was very nice.
I took photos with my digital which is the first time I used it. Now I have to see if the program to adjust the photos is compatible with my computer.
Sun. I puttered around and read an Anne Perry novel. I finished it last night and started a James Patterson one.
I started working on my speech. I did a very effective fund raiser and since the group is a Christian Professional women's group, most of the ladies attend a church and do a lot of fund raisers. So this is what they asked me to speak on. I'm scheduled for Sep.
There are no special plans for me this week.
Have a wonderful day,
K

I beg to differ - you sound VERY busy to me.
I hope you can get some photos of the baptism posted for us to see.
I'm with Deb you sound very busy. But I am truly impressed that your DD made the baptism outfit. She is amazing.
Like Deb said, you will love the digital camera once you start using it.
Good luck with your speech.

Wow...I agree with the others...your DD is Wonder Woman. How does she do it all?
Did you just get your digital camera? I love mine! My brother has the same one I do but as accomplished a photographer as he is he can't figure it out at all. He still likes his VERY old fashioned Nikon from a million years ago. Can you believe he JUST figured out email? I tell the truth! LOL
Be sure to go down to the Books and Fun folder and post the books you've read and are reading. We're trying to revive that thread again.
