I had my hat on and I logged out of Computers came here and signed in as Emty and it was still CL.  So I had to close down the internet and come back in to get things the way they should have been in the first place......

Ok, The other night I had what I thought might have been a mini stroke. Went to see the vascular dr. he said it was very unlikey that is what it was so he got me an appointment with Dels eye doctor....he is one of the best in the country....he got me in at Sioux City yesterday at noon......the next day.WOW..

Not in my eye......he thinks it may have been some kind of aura even thought not like what I usually get. Scared me.....I am still having sinus/allergy problems and he thought I should get on antibiotics.......when I told him I just did 10 days of them he said sometimes you have to take them for 20....but now since it has been about a week I would have to start all over..For PETE'S sake.....The sneezing and the funky head drives me nuts.

I wish all the stuff that was going on in my head would show me the future and I could cash in on a very large lottery ticket sometime......if I buy one....lol

We had Del's family reunion that we have every 2 years. There were about 40-50 people there but shelter house was flooded from the front and it was raining so probably 35 kids inside Oh My...... A worker probably lost his life, I don't think they have found him yet......him and 2 others were working on a bridge at Norfolk NE and the bridge gave way.....Ewing as of yesterday still had water over the road at the bridge going out of town and Highway 20 still blocked.  Now they are saying we could get 3 more days of rain. Hope it is light.

Our monthy camper pot luck is tonight almost everyone is here this time hope they can all make it... Tonight is a cookout we bring our own meat and the guys grill it. I have some of O'Neill's hydroponic tomatoes (they have them in the store up here...NICE) so I am going to make tomaoes with english cuke, vidalia onions and fresh basil. Just a little seasoned rice vinegar and a touch of EVOO. So easy and so good.......well if you like tomatoes that is.. The camp manager don't like raw onions but he is going to have to suffer cause most everyone likes onions in salad.lol

Think I might make a stuffed hamburger, with mozz, minced onion, and fresh rosemary in the middle. Maybe add soy sause and anything else I can find.....lol

Grapes and cherrys cheap right now so I mixed up some green, purple grapes and cherries in a bowl that I will take later tonight to some friends, we sit on the deck and have a drink......well our drinking is tame they like a mixed something....but we always have a snack.....

Well better get off here for a while so my head don't get so funky, I have had my eyes dialated before but yesterday was awful......today it feels like my lids don't want to cover my eyeballs......I am just strange......

Glad to hear that the doc does not think you had a stroke.

Well I thought the buger sounded so good but then I wasn't doing the cooking and it was well done and my cheese left a hollow spot in the middle....kind of tough.....I let Del eat most of it. But everyone always bring the best salad. One was just Romane with fresh dill and cream with a splash of vinegar......that was good to me. One was romane and little bits of cut up ham and sunflower seeds. I tried about 4 salads and couldn't get to the sweet stuff... which is probably a good thing....someone did have shrimp dip that is always deadly but it was a little tamer in taste most of the time when I have had it, it has some horseradish in it. Someone brough some radishes cut up and some of those things were as big as lemons or more. Huge.

They are talking about flash flooding at home again and we have to go home tomorrow.....maybe we will go north to O'Neill and just turn around and come back up here without going home. They wanted all the guys that helped with the sandbagging to get a tetnis shot but Del just directed traffic........I told hime not to mess with the sand bags then complain about his back....lol. And he listened this time.

Just called my dad for Father's Day. He is kind of going downhill....you can hear it in his voice. Sad but I am just glad he has his mind......it is nice to be able to

The stories told by those who grew up in the generations prior to ours always have held a special attraction to me to, Janet. My X's grandparents lived to be nearly 100 and I used to just love to hear how it was for them in their younger days.
