Hello ladybugs,
I haven't fallen off the face of the planet, but I feel like I'm in orbit. I would blather about the speed of life in general, but I'll confine to just this weekend.
DGS has started summer baseball practice, so was there bright and early Saturday morning.
My brother's vocal group is in final preparation for competition and I was at his rehearsal in the afternoon. The Vocal Majority Women (VMW) do many things to support the chorus. Since I will be attending the competition I have been included in their activities. We are going to surprise the men at one of their rehearsals in Philadelphia by performing a parody of one of the songs they are singing in competition. We were practicing that song on Saturday afternoon. It has choreography and props and will make the guys laugh a lot. I'm really excited to be included in this. Most of the other women are wives of the chorus members. Grand fun!
I kept my DGS Saturday evening so DD and DSiL could celebrate their third anniversary. They went to dinner and to see "Wicked" performed by a touring company. DD said that I will really enjoy seeing it, that it was very good.
Today I had to do all of the chores that got ignored yesterday (laundry, and yard work), then I went to a concert of big band music this evening. The group that performed was excellent. My toes were tapping all the way through, and there were some people who danced (the concert was in the botanic garden). It finished off with fireworks which always make me happy. Love, love fireworks.
I know that this week at work will fly by and next Monday will be the start of vacation for me. I'll be back in NYC, with side trips to New Jersey and Philadelphia. If I decide to carry the laptop, I'll report on the trip like I did in December.
Hugs,
Melissa

Goodness Melissa you are so busy. I had wondered where you were. Sounds like a lot of fun going on, instead of work taking you away.
Melissa, I love the idea of the parody.
