Last night as I was walking around the house putting up the drain spouts I was thinking it was almost good enough outside to believe I was at the beach.  It was warm (80's) humid 90%.  The only thing lacking was the ocean....sigh.

For some reason all my aches and pains go away when the weather is like this.  Very wierd.  LOL  For these few weeks of summer my fingers and toes are nice and warm and toasty. My joints feel like they have been oiled with with WD40.  LOL  Yesterday was summer soltice, one of my favorite days of the year. It's the longest day with daylight hours.  Now we'll be heading back down to short days and long winter nights.  I won't think about that for few months though!  LOL

A storm moved thru in the middle of the night. I quickly checked  NOAA and saw we were in  a warning.   I closed all the windows,  grabbed my flashlight and found a nice cozy bed with feather ticking on downstairs and slept like a rock!   This morning I see the storm blew over with out any damage. We got about half an inch of rain out of deal.  Pieces of leaves and such are scattered thru out the yard.  Another shingle or two is off the house.  We are scheduled for new shingles before the snow flies. .   such is the life of Donna and Flame....(he weathered the storm just fine and he enjoys summer just like me!  LOL )

Sure wish I could send you a little of our ocean!

I guess you should be living in a warmer climate (for those aches and pains)
