Wondering if anyone here has had experience. I have chronic tendonitis in both shoulders and the MD's only solution at this stage is cortisone injection (which I've heard can be very painful).

I had some accupuncture on my wrists when my Carpel Tunnel was causing so much pain.

Jacquie if you get the cortisone shots you won't regret it.

Jacquie, I would definitely try acupuncture first. I tried it for my migraines a long time ago but couldn't keep up with it long enough to see good results (money issues) but I believe had I been able to keep up with it it would have helped. I've heard those cortisone shots REALLY hurt but give you relief. I always try to take the more natural way first.

Good luck with whatever you choose. I'm having major shoulder issues too.

Jacquie it's all how they give the shots. A friend of mine had it in her hips and they had to target the area where it was needed. Those shots do hurt, but she was numbed first. She said she was sore from them, but not in bad pain. My doctor just gave me a shot in the arm and it was over. It hurt like a regular shot.
