Good morning, Ladybugs. It's Tuesday, DH's birthday. We are having a little party tonight at a restaurant that is right on the bay. It's going to be outside so am hoping for two things, 1) that it doesn't rain 2) that it isn't too hot.
Yesterday I did my tutoring thing and was so exasperated that I almost walked out. The little 2 yr old was very much into his terrible twos. When I walked in a Vietnamese boy in his teens was on the sofa playing with his gameboy. I assumed that he was a relative. About halfway into the lesson I looked over at the boy and asked him if he spoke English. He indeed spoke very well, so I asked him if he was a relative visiting. No, he was the babysitter for the little guy! Hmmm, he's sitting there not paying a bit of attention to little M, who was disrupting our lesson! I said to him , please, in the future, take little M to the back of the house when I am giving lessons!!!
I have things to do...so here's hoping you have a great day!

Hi there, Shari.
Hi BB, Yes I DID remember that it is your son's b-day.
Shari - happy birthday to your dh and keeping fingers crossed that you have wonderful weather for the dinner. What's up with that family? ayayay
BB-happy birthday to your ds too! 28? my ds is 31, can you believe it? when I look at my kids now, I can't believe they're full grown adults..have fun
When I went out to Curves this morning, it was drizzling! Messed up Phoenix (I finally named my car) now she's all wet...lol...
Have a great day ladies!
Funny story, Ms. V, but only because I wasn't there to experience it first-hand.
Far too often these days (for the past 10 or so years, for that matter) I have carped about the lack of manners in (and discipline of) kids! Drives me bonkers!!!
Please tell your DH "happy b'day" from me too, Shari. Hope you have a nice warm, dry evening for your party!

Shari I hope dh's party went off as planned with no rain or heat. Happy belated birthday to him.
That does sound like an exasperating time with the tutoring. Unbelieveable the people they allow to babysit their kids.
We are getting a lot of thunderstorms, albeit too late to be a big help to my garden. It's pretty much played out.
I hope your party went well, Shari.
I think I'd take a piece of paper and tell the little boy to write a story.
K
The party went very well, thank you!!
The little boy is only two. Yes, the mommy makes a lot of bad choices....You know that is the case when she doesn't even know who the daddy is!!!!!
