Good morning from Hot-lanta.....

We'll be in the 90's again today, but tomorrow, they say the high will "only" be 87*.  Woo hoo, almost sweater weather!...lol.  I'm doing the Peachtree Road Race on Sunday, July 4th, and I just hope it cools off a little by then.

DH and I just returned from 6 weeks in Florida.  That's the longest we've ever stayed at one time.  It was nice, but I can't tell you how good it is to be home!  However, because we had been gone so long, we came home to a few problems --  DH had turned down (or is it "up?"...) the A/C to 85* before we left, so when we got home we found that the toilet seats in the bathrooms all had mold on them!  EEEEWWWW and ICK!  I used bleach on them, which worked on two of the seats, but I need to go out today and buy a couple of new toilet seats to replace the others.

Also, we found a big wasp nest (one of those that looks like looks like paper mache, about the size of a cantaloupe) attached to a limb in the cherry tree in the front yard and overhanging the driveway.  DH went out after dark last night and sprayed into the opening with bee bomb.  This morning, we don't see any activity in the nest and there are several dead bodies on the driveway, so maybe they were all killed.  Little devils....I do NOT like bees, especially wasps.

Well, I do have a few errands to run, so I'll close for now so I can get those taken care of before the temp. soars.  I'll be back later today to do more catching up.  Have a great day, everyone!

Ah, that explains why I'd not been seeing much of you here in the Garden lately!! Why on earth would you want to be away from home for that long, ladybug?!! LOL That'll teach you though - mold and wasps to welcome you home ain't no fun!! Hope you'll have both totally under control ASAP!

Tell that wonder boy of yours "happy b'day" for me, please!

I assume you are all psyched up and ready for the Peachtree Road Race?! I am so glad you are feeling good enough to do this again!!
