We're going to hear the Vermont Symphony Orchestra play an outdoor concert in Grafton. At the end, there are fireworks while the orchestra plays Sousa marches. It's an annual tradition for us. They'll be lots of stuff to eat and drink and it's always a good time. Unless it rains, in which case we're stuck in a school gym.

It's been high 50s and low 60s here for the past few days. Supposed to get into the 80s and 90s for the 4th.

Happy July all, got to make this quick as my 'net connection is 'iffy' these days - one of the reasons I've been absent.

No big plans for the month. We're off next week and plan on starting our re-tiling project, and hopefully some relaxing as well. I'm just looking forward to afternoon naps lol.

Both good news and bad for me - good news is I came home from the TKD tournament (my first) with a shocking 1st place in forms and 2nd in sparring (by 1 point). Found out it helps to be 'old', much less competition, quantity-wise,

Ellen here from E. Washington. Having a very cool summer here so far. We have been in the low to mid 70s for the last week or so with quite a bit of rain.

Not much planned except for enjoying the three-day weekend. We just ended our fiscal year at work so the next couple of months will be very busy.

My computer had been acting up for the last couple of months so haven't been here much. Just upgraded to a new satellite and it seems to be working much better.

Enjoy the holiday and drive safe if you are traveling.
