DS called me out of bed around 10 pm the other night.  Sitting on an electrical wire at the end of our drive was an owl.  He was a big one-about 16"  I wasn't able to see if he had ears, but he did have a flat grey face with brown/black feathers.  He just turned his head when the light was shined on him.

I am going to pick up the CD I ordered.  It's Pat Boone and it has "April Love" and "Love Letters in the Sand" on it.  I found a store in Riverdale GA called Yesterday's Memories where he has or can get old CD's.  For some reason I wanted to hear these songs.

R's apt. yesterday only lasted 1.25 hrs. I did go home. She had a little pain in her jaw because the infecton had come back. Today she said the pain is just a nudge.

I got a call and on Aug. 31 I'm invited to the breast cancer kick off breakfast.  Last year I said I'd go and then forgot about it.  Not smart.

Have to go. Have a great day and stay cool. Except for Donna. lol

We have owls around here. Always heard them but never seen any. In fact, we lost a chicken to a horned owl. Only that kind could have killed it the way it was killed. It was my favorite rooster too.

I believe in American Indian folklore it's good luck to have an owl fly over your place of residence...or so I've been told. I love listening to them at night.

We have owls in the woods behind our house, but I have only seen them a few times.
