Wednesday, hump day catch up.

Today is my 5 year anniversary at work. They sure have gone by quickly. This past month has been so stressful. You know the older you get the harder it is to adjust to change. I am now working Monday through Friday, learning a new job, and getting to know new people. But with people going on LOA and vacation, I'm having other issues, which puts me in conflict with management.  I don't like conflict.

One good thing about the job change, I have lost 5lbs! Not sure if it's from the heat, stress, or eating all those veggies out of my garden. My garden has done beautifully this year, except for the corn. I did get enough corn for one Sunday dinner.

I hope everyone is having a great week. ((hugs)) and prayers for everyone who is in need of them.

Have a good hump day.

(((Hugs))

Shirley, it's nice that you have a job where you can shed a few #s.

Good morning Shirley! I am not fond of change either in work or home. I have been getting lots of tomatoes and cucumbers out of my garden. My green peppers and onions just burnt up.

So sorry to hear the job change is causing stress. I guess I'm weird loving my job change at this age! I usually hate change but am embracing it and enjoying it and am surprising myself!

I was at our local farm stand yesterday and they said the corn is ahead of schedule and should be coming in in a couple weeks at most. We don't usually see it until August. It's growing so fast because of the rain and heat you can almost hear it growing!! We'll have good corn crops this year. The tomatoes are pretty much on schedule...don't have them yet.

How nice that you can just walk out to your back yard and pick your own veggies for dinner. Mom and Dad used to have a garden and the stuff was sooooo good!

Congrats on the weight loss. I lost about 5 lbs. too.

Karen I think you are right. Finally working normal hours, I am also eating normal meals at normal times. Yes, my veggies taste so much better than those from the store.

Jackie you will not believe this. I planted some green peppers and they turned out to be banana peppers. They have been doing good. But yeah, some of mine have pretty much burnt out.
