Today is my 5 year anniversary at work. They sure have gone by quickly. This past month has been so stressful. You know the older you get the harder it is to adjust to change. I am now working Monday through Friday, learning a new job, and getting to know new people. But with people going on LOA and vacation, I'm having other issues, which puts me in conflict with management. I don't like conflict.
One good thing about the job change, I have lost 5lbs! Not sure if it's from the heat, stress, or eating all those veggies out of my garden. My garden has done beautifully this year, except for the corn. I did get enough corn for one Sunday dinner.
I hope everyone is having a great week. ((hugs)) and prayers for everyone who is in need of them.
Have a good hump day.
(((Hugs))

Aaaawww shucks! I missed out on a mini bugfest! Crap! You know I DID feel something around my ears today.
Maybe by that weekend...I hope. She said it was 1 1/2 to 2 weeks away. Maybe we'll get in on the first of it. I swear it's about a foot taller every day!

Dogs have families, Cats have servents.
If your WM is anything like ours (in lower income area), the changes could be for the worst. DH & I have been shocked to see the difference in our store and the one across town 4 miles away (in higher income area). Ours has eliminated displays in open areas, so it looks very bare. The clothing is very low end & basic. Even the produce section is reduced and what there is doesn't look very good. Even lights are dimmed, so the whole place looks grungy. The other store is bright, and the lines carried are better displayed and better quality. Ours has also had a high turnover. We saw an elderly greeter last eve who looked as if she was on her last legs. I overheard a conversation that they are having a hard time finding employees because of the drug testing. Wow, that sure opened my eyes to what's going on locally.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that things will settle down over the summer. In the meantime, do you now have weekends of with DH?

Thanks so much Kathey. You know it's funny I always forget when we get paid. I guess because it's direct deposit. I have even stopped the paper one from coming. I'm always suprised when I check my account and see more money in there..lol.
((hugs))
Jacquie we are not exactly a low income area. But we are a small town very lucky to have a Walmart.
I'm playing "catch up" here in the Garden.
(((Deb))) Thank you so much for the compliment.
I've been hit and miss here, so missed this one.
