Does anyone know which HPT's are more sensitive than others? I remember seeing a website somewhere on the WWW that listed them.

TIA!

But wait, that list shows that Early Pregnancy Test detects at levels of 50 mIU, but www.earlypregnancytests.com says that they detect levels at 20 mIU. Are they the same tests, or could the list be outdated? Hmm, I just purchased some from them yesterday, so I want to know if they're lying!! Thanks.

Hmmmm...interesting! The list could definitely be outdated....I find there are also certain tests with the same or similar names listed in each the 20mIU and 50 mIU catergory...maybe 2 options?

Sorry for any confusion!

I've heard that Confirm is a pretty good brand. It is what i used and it read a definite second line early on while First Response was still showing negatives and a faint line. Well you know...I had to do several just to be sure. =)

Also, as another tip to all the ladies reading this post. If you are an eBay shopper, that is a great place to get your ovulation and pregnancy test strips REALLY cheap and by bulk. I got 10 ovulation tests for $3.50 and 20 pregnancy tests for $7!! Can't beat that when you're in the predicament we're in...a dollar short and hopefully a day late! HAHAAHAHAHAHAH!

**In general, tests rated to detect the lowest hCG levels should be able to detect pregnancy sooner than those rated for a higher level. However, it is important to note that this chart rates the manufacturer's claimed sensitivity, not test accuracy. We did not do a laboratory analysis of the tests. **

This is a quote I found on this site (at the bottom of the comparison chart). Thought it might help explain some things. Also, according to the site, it was last updated on January 8, 2003, so it shouldn't be too terribly outdated, but maybe a bit.

Just thought I'd try to clear up some of the confusion. Hope this helped!
