Question for charters about O pain ...
| Thu, 07-17-2003 - 3:17pm |
Okay, this is month 3 of charting for me (month 6 of ttc), and really only the 1st month of charting was what I'd call "normal." That first month, I had O pain (like I usually do), and on FF it turned out that my O date was actually the day after the pain. The next month, my temps were wacky, so we had to kind of guess at my O date. Turns out that sort of the same thing happened -- O pain and then O the next day. Well, this month is going to make me mental. I had O pain back on day 14. Big O pain, so there was no question of what it was. So I expected to start seeing a rise in temp the next day or two. Well, no dice. FF has my O date as being 4 days after I had the pain. (And that's actually rather late, I think. I'm wondering if they have the day right ... no matter what my temps say.)
So my question to all of you is: when is your O pain in relation to your actual O date? Has anybody else felt O pain, and yet not actually O until a few days later? I'm always wondering if the temperature of the room really affects my temps. For a while there it was pretty cold.
Anyway, any input would be appreciated!
Thanks!

I don't really have any answers for you, as I don't actually get "O" pains myself - not to my knowledge anyway. Just wanted to "bump" your question back up to see if any of our experts here could help you out! Good luck to you!

Yeah, it's actually kind of a ridiculous spike in my temp...I've been meaning to go in and discard it. Thanks for reminding me! I think I had a bad dream right before I woke up (just vaguely remember it), so maybe that's why I was so HOT!
