Have a fantastic time wearing the crown today -- it is SO much fun :)
My question for you -- have you done a lot of traveling? What is the best place you've visited, what is the "worst"?
-Another Jen ;-)
Please tell us how you met DH and how he proposed to you!!
Have a great day!! :-)

What is your favorite flower? Any reason why?

My question is this: What is your best childhood memory?
~Leah
Hope you are thoroughly enjoying your day!
My question..... Where do you live? Have you always lived there? AND - Would you prefer to live elsewhere?
Thanks!

Thanks for the question!
I love traveling, but don't think I have done a lot. I think the best place I have been was Maui, Hawaii. Unfortunately, that was a long time ago (when I was in High School). I fell in love with Bermuda on my honeymoon and would love to go back for our 5 yr. anniversary. I also really liked Charleston, South Carolina.
I don't know what the worst would be....I guess I don't have a worst.
Have a great day!

Thanks for the question. How DH and I met...it was scandalous!
We worked together for about 4 years and knew each other before we started dating. We were both seeing other people (who also worked at the same company). He broke up with his girlfriend and I was in a terrible relationship. I transferred to the same dept. and we became friends and he quickly became my confidant. I kicked the other guy to the curb and after DH thought that I had an appropriate amount of time to get over things he asked me out...I think it was a month later. We knew it was meant to be early in the relationship and had to overcome a lot of negativity from people with whom we worked (friends of our exes, etc.).
How he proposed...I love this. DH and I bought a house together before we were engaged, but I knew it was coming. He wanted to go shopping to get ideas for our house. I'm always up for a good shopping trip so we headed out to a huge mall in our area and made dinner reservations at one of the restaurants at the mall. While we were shopping he kept stopping at Jewelry store windows and saying "do you like that ring, what about this ring?" I was getting furious! I thought that he would have had the ring already...as the evening went on I was getting a little nasty! I couldn't believe he was such a bonehead! We sat down for dinner and I ordered BBQ ribs. Well, DH could have died...he kept saying, "look at the fish they have, the tuna and salmon look great" (I found out later he was afraid my hands would be all greasy from the ribs when he proposed). Being in such a foul mood I wanted something hearty to comfort me. After dinner the waiter came over with 2 glasses of champagne and a ring box on a silver tray. DH took the ring and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I started crying and said yes and all the tables around us started clapping! I was so shocked. To this day I can't believe he pulled it off.
Oh yeah, I ate my ribs with a knife and fork so my hands were perfectly clean when he slipped the ring on!
I love that memory. Thanks for asking about it!

I'm having so much fun.
What is my favorite flower? I guess it would have to be the Daisy or Sunflower. They are both so cheerful!
Have a great day. Jen

Good morning Leah. Good question. I guess my best childhood memory would be when I was in 3rd grade and my whole family went to DisneyWorld with my grandparents and cousin for Christmas. That is the only thing that really stands out.
Have a great day. Thanks for the question.

Thanks for the question T. I live in Delaware. While DE is a small state, there are some things that I really like about it...we are close to Philadelphia, New York, Baltimore and DC. DH and I used to love taking day trips especially to New York to see a play.
I haven't always lived here, I was born in Illinios, moved to Maryland and then Pennsylvania. I would love to live somewhere in the south that has nice weather year round, but I would have to move my parents and sister with me. They live close by and I would miss them dearly if we moved to far.
Have a great day.
Jen
