Good question!

I have so many great spots I'd like to visit but the ultimate vacation with DH would be a Mediterranean excision. I am Italian and would love to go to Italy and enjoy some good food and good wine and would then like to pop over to Greece to bask on the beaches and maybe do a bit of diving. I hear that there is fabulous diving there!

Have a great day,

Jennifer

Teera,

I am a Boston girl! I was actually born on a naval base in Memphis but moved up north when I was 4 so I consider myself a true blue Bostonian. I live on the south shore now but lived in Boston for several years during my college and graduate school days. My parents have relocated to Austin, TX and I love to visit them and visit relatives in Florida but I don't think I'd want to live anywhere else. My only complaint is that the winter lasts too long. I love all the other seasons, love the Red Sox (I work 3 blocks from Fenway Park), and love that dirty water (I row competitively). Nice to have another Bawstin girl here!

Have a great day!

Jennifer

P.S. My favorite joke about the Boston accent is What are khakis in Boston? "Khakis are what we staht the cah with."

GM, Queen Jennifer! Enjoy your royal day! Here's the question:

If you had to choose the best (non-TTC-related) invention in history, what would win and why?

Have fun!!

I love this question!

I had my ideal romantic day in Aruba but could definitely live it all over again! DH and I had fruit for breakfast on the balcony of our room at the resort overlooking the Caribbean. We went on a snorkeling/scuba expedition. Being underwater is so peaceful, and to share that with him was wonderful. We swam for hours looking at coral, tropical fish; we dove to look at a shipwreck. After, we took a long catamaran ride and stretched out in the sun. We got back to the resort and relaxed by the pool and did a little hot tubing and had many tropical, fruity drinks. We went out to dinner at the place right on the beach (I mean your feet were in the sand). We watched the sunset, drank some terrific wine and had delicious barracuda. After, we went back to our hotel and well let's just fade to black like they did in older, classier movies.

Have a great day,

Jennifer

Hi Jennifer,

I already posted, but my message seems to have gone missing. Apologies if this is a duplicate.

Since you're Italian, do you cook Italian food? What's your favorite dish to make?

Have a great day being queen! Enjoy yourself!

I like to cook but truthfully I don't get to do it often enough. DHs favorites that I make are grilled Thai tuna with couscous, veggie parmesan polenta, chocolate trifle and stir fried scallops. In terms of Italian dishes I make a lot of different pasta dishes. Our favorite is fettuccine in pesto sauce with garlic roasted shrimp. Yum! I am known for my salads too. I make a delicious salad that's greens, grape tomatoes, cucumbers, chick peas, carrots, peppers, dried cherries and dried cranberries, garlic roasted almond slivers, and gorgonzola cheese with raspberry pecan dressing. It usually gets a lot of wows with that and it's easy to make.

My sister in law is the great cook in the family. She makes so many delicious vegetarian dishes. My favorites are her taco ring, eggplant meatballs and the ultimate...bananas foster. Now I am starving and that healthy choice in the freezer isn't quit what I'm looking for. LOL!

Hope you are having a great day,

Jennifer
