GOOD NEWS! (and important tip)

Here's an update on my earlier post about getting a faint line at 5w 5d. I couldn't stand it so I went and bought yet another less sensitive test (not FRE this time). I always pee in a cup & dip (tmi) because I'm usually shaking and nervous. Well, the directions for this one said hold in urine stream for 5-6 sec OR hold in cup for AT LEAST 10 sec. Take note testers: apparently you need to saturate the stick for a little bit LONGER when dipping, which I was not doing. I did so and within minutes, there it was: a BIG, DARK, BOLD line darker than the control line. I really think I wasn't getting enough urine on my stick because come to think of it, the early bfp with the avg line was poas! I hope I don't have false hopes here but I'm thinking a nice dark line with EVENING urine means I can rest a little easier. And, btw, I'll be getting my ultrasound on 8/8 with a NEW doctor's office!

Thanks for your support earlier girls. I knew just where to come....

I haven't had the luxury of testing yet Amy but I appreciate the input. I have thought about POAS or in a cup so knowing the length of time it needs to soak is important. Thanks so much for posting this Amy :) I'm glad your's got darker!

aroth3,

Please report back about your ultrasound...... Is dipping the

stick better? I've always used the stream. I had 2 faint lines, 1 blank,

2 1/2 day light period and 1 faint line again.

maybe just really wishful thinking
