NO REGULAR CYCLE-WHAT TO DO???

My situation is frustrating, I don't have a regular cycle. Having a regular cycle i think is very important in order to know when you are ovulating so with me it's wierd For Ex: May was 33 days, June was 28 days and July was 31 days. I just got AF on July 26 and ended July 31st and I'm TTC so any suggestions on what i should do or try to precisely know when i'm ovulating...would be greatly appreciated.

I think a regular cycle is anywhere from 28-34 days. If you are really concerned maybe you should call your dr. Also, you can start taking viatmin B6 (100mg) per day. That is supposed to help normalize hormone levels, and extend your luteal phase. It worked for me so far! My cycles were all over the place after birth control pills. As far as when you are ovulating, if you want to pinpoint the day you should start charting. You can record cervical position, mucous and your basal body temp. Even if you do not want to chekc your cervix, you can still get by with checking CM and your temps. That way you will know what day you ovulate each month. Your dr will probably ask you to do that anyway, to see how your cycles are going. Good luck.

While you've got a little fluctuation in cycle length, your cycles are still within "normal" ranges. To better pinpoint when you'll ovulate, I'd recommend charting your basal body temps. Read the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" - it's got EVERYTHING you ever wanted to know about charting your BBT, your cervical position, and your cervical fluid changes. After a few months of charting, you'll be able to see when ovulation happens for you.

Good luck!
