Ok this is about CM so if TMI (too much information) bothers you don't read on...

On all the searching I've done online, I've never been able to see any graphics depicting CM. Sometimes I don't know how to read mine. For example, this morning, I'm creamy (light white) but there is also a SLIGHT bit of stretch. It doesn't cling and hang on to each finger, it snaps back pretty quickly as soon as I open my fingers. So is that STICKY instead of CREAMY? Somehow I thought sticky would be dryer and...I don't know...stickier, as in feeling like glue or tape adhesive or something.

If in your travels you've come up with some graphics, please forward the url. Thanks! =)

by the way...here's the url for my chart

That sounds more like creamy. You are right, sticky is more like a glue feeling. If you are really interested in pictures, take a look at the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. Great book, and it has some examples of what CM looks like during the cycle. HTH.

Hi Shawn..

Well, this is going to be strange because I thought I was the only "Shawn" on this board. Now we're BOTH going to have to see who people are talking to when they put our name in the subject line! LOL!

As you well know, there aren't too many female Shawn's out there. They are always Shawna's, right?

Oh, you and I could talk for hours on the subject I bet. I have Sooooooooo many funny stories that involve my name. :)

Anyway...I think that CM you are talking about sounds like creamy cm. Sticky, I think, should form tiny little peaks when you pull your 2 fingers apart. I hope this helps.

I am waiting for the book, "Taking charge of your fertility" right now. I bought a used copy on Amazon.com

GL to you!!!!!!!!

Read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility." It's got an excellent color photo section, including some very graphic photos of cervix position and cervical mucus. That section certainly cleared a lot of questions for me! (If you think your e-mail was TMI... wait 'til you see those photos!) =)

Thanks for your response Shawn! You are so right, our name is so unique. I used to hate it growing up and now it is its very uniqueness that I like about it.

Well, after looking at my reply posts, I went to the bookstore and checked out the book. WOA!!! What an eye-opener. I didn't buy it today, but will most definitely go check it out at the library. That was all I needed right there...in hindsight, my post was nowhere NEAR graphic when compared to that. But someone like me needs that to really see what the heck I should be looking for.

We're working on trying for a boy. I didn't want to misread my little bit of stickiness and start working on it a little too early. I think my "o" day looks like it will be closer to the end of the week so i'll continue to temp and take my opk tests looking for a +.

Keep me in your thoughts as I will you all!! =)

Hey Shawn....

I will most definitly keep you in my thoughts! You are 5 days ahead of me so I'm hoping to see your BFP the week before mine! :) Hopefully this will be the month for the "Shawns". :)

I hope the book helps you. I'm still waiting for the used copy I bought from Amazon.com. I'm hoping it will come some time before I go on vacation Friday. I'd love to read it on vacation.

Well, you should come join our little "posse" we have going in the "Waiting for O". This month we're called "MAYbe Mommies". Last month we were the "AFSA Posse". I'm hoping we don't need a name for June. I hope we all get our BFP before then!

GL to you!
