ok well:

first: what is delayed O? if it happens what do your temps reflect? ive been stressed this month.

second: how long does o pains last? i had some cramping like af last night and this morn. its not on one side, it is low and in the middle it is just a little milder than af cramps. i fell like i am going to get af. i have never had cramps this early and ive never had o pains that ive ever noticed.

third: if i am having o pains now will it be to late to bd tonight? how soon after the pains does o come?

fourth: could someone have a look @ my chart? im pretty sure i havent oed, but let me know if or when i oed, or could i o today. i know i oed on day 16 last month but ive never had 2 long cycles in a row before. but ive been stressing over this so it could have put it off i guess. boy do i need to relax.

i kinda hope i am not oing today because we bd yesterday. it was to days ago. i know theres still a chance because the sperm can live that long but i like to be extra sure. this is the worst wait for me and it has to be the longest:(

sorry ladys for chating your ear off. thanks for listening!!! good luck to all of you.

Hey! It looks like you haven't O'd yet, but you might be any time now, so get bding! I don't know too much about O pains and their timing, but your chart doesn't look like you've O'd yet, so I'd sneak another bd in just to be sure!

GL. Hope to see your bfp soon!

Hey Angela...I know a little about some of what you asked about. And some of it I know nothing about. I've never kept up with my temps. But...I'm ttc#4 so...I've got it figured out to some extent. hee, hee... seriously though, just in my own reading lately, I've learned a bit about O pains. The Lh surge Ovulation prediction kits detect let's you know you're about to ovulate. The hormone is released in a 10 to 12 hour window. And it takes 24 to 26 hours for the egg to release once the Lh is released and starts to stimulate the ovary. So...it's a guess as to whether you're feeling the ovary just being stimulated...or if it is actually releasing the egg...but for sure you've still got time to conceive either way because at some point the stimulating and the releasing become one and ovulation is complete. Once the egg is released, it has 24 hours to be fertilized before it dissolves. Now, I don't know if this is the gospel carved in stone. But, it's what I've read... I won't ovulate for another 10 days...but I'm sure anxious to get things under way!! Good Luck to you!! Amanda

I agree that you haven't o'd yet, but you could definitely be o-ing today. They say the o pains are typically on one side, but that doesn't mean what you feel isn't them. Everyone is different. I would make a note of the pains and then if you don't get your BFP this month, watch next month to see if you notice the same pains around the same time. I think delayed ovulation can be a couple of things, some people probably just call it ovulation later than normal. Or it can be when ovulation takes a longer time AFTER the trigger (LH surge). SO if you get a + OPK but your temp doesn't rise within a day or two, that might be delayed ovulation, if it goes up later. If the temp never rises, then that is anovulatory. Stress might cause late ovulation, but it isn't proven, so who knows?

Anyway, I would keep BD every other day if you can until your temp goes up. That way you know there are at least some swimmers there whenever the egg is released.

Good Luck!
