BBTemp Question now C2

Ok, AF showed her ugly head after I was 14DPO and 5 days late. Now it's time to pull out the big guns. I have just started my first AF after BCP's so I have a fighting chance for the coming months. My question is:
When do I begin my basal body temperature testing? What should I use to track it? I have ovusoft software but I notice you laides use a specific website.
Do I start testing tomorrow 1 day into my AF cycle?
Also, my cycle was 34 days instead of the normal 29-30. Will BBT be able to help me track the hag?

I agree with the last poster to go ahead and start temping tomorrow. Keep in mind that your temps may be erratic during AF. I also use Fertility Friend, (FF), but you can use any other program you like. Also keep in mind that the BCP were keeping your cycle regular before, so there will be an adjustment until your body gets back a natural rhythm for it, which may not be what it was before BCP (I was 30-31 days before BCP, and now 26-29 days). I also dont' think 14 DPO is late for most people, unless you know you have a consistently shorter luteal phase (14 days is the average). So just try not to stress these first months until your body gets used to making its own hormones again! CHarting is a great way to keep track. After a couple of months, you know what to expect and what is normal for you. Also, if you don't conceive quickly charting can help you see if there is a problem with your cycle, like anovulation or short LP etc.
I hope this helps, best of luck to you.
