For those of you who are TTC #2 I was wondering if you remember any EARLY PG symptoms. I know "they" say you really don't have symptoms for a few week after conception, but.....did any of you have a strange tightness/fullnessin your abdomen within a week of conception? I am not "symptom searching" because I really wasn't expecting to conceive for a few more days (trying to figure my cycle out). I was surprised when I started exoeriencing this "fullness/tightness". I feel that I can't get my usual "flat" stomach without really sucking in and then it feels tender.

I have no idea....so I thought I would ask! I have heard many people say "they just knew" that they were pregnant pretty soon after conception.

Any comments will be appreciated.

Thanks everyone,

MIA

I'd say that's a pretty safe bet...I think I do remember a full feeling. I also woke up starving really early in the morning and had calf cramps. GL!

i can remember KNOWING the day i got pg w/ dd... i even said it to someone, and sure enough, there it was :)

i also had a coffee aversion within a week of conception, just thought i'd had too much of it, lately, but i couldn't STAND the taste until after dd was born... my back hurt more than normal, and i was tired really early. all within a week of being pg. (so, a week before AF was due, so i'm assuming it was about 7 or 8dpo- i didn't chart back then)

(i'm getting excited, because i'm about 6 dpo and i've got headaches, backache, and i've been exhausted lately! :D here's hoping! LOL, funny we'd wish to feel so stinky!)

and the first thing to go after AF was due was my ability to suck in that little tummy pooch. i just got bloated like i used to get before AF. and stayed that way for over a month! lol, not too much fun, but worth it in the end!

anyway, hope that gives you an idea of what you could look for :) and good luck this cycle!!

Are you saying that you remember this full feeling a day or two after conception?

Thanks for your response!

If you KNEW the day you got pregnant before, chances are that you are correct this time too.

Its wierd how many books say that there are no symptoms that early. I think everyone is different. I am very in tune with my body so I would like to think that I would know, but I have thought sp many times that I was PG (Back when I wasn't aiming for it). I just think PMS can be so similar. Anyway the feeling I have in my abdomen is much different! The thing is.....DH and I do not use BCPS as our BC method, so this is the first time that my husband is able to stay put at the end of BD (catch my drift). I hoping that I am not reacting to little swimmers. My V seems a little bit swollen/irritated (and not from too much BD) It's either that or PG.

Boy it;s hard being patient.

THE BESTT OF LUCK!

Well, for me I have had definite symptoms at about 8dpo both times I have been pregnant. I can't say that the fullness you are describing is one of my symptoms. I get a nauseous feeling and an overall food aversion. My symptoms are so definite that I don't even need to take an HPT because I know I am pregnant (I take one anyway just for the fun and confirmation :-)) I never get any breast aching or tenderness. Just the nausea, food aversion and insomnia. They say every woman is different and perhaps the fullness in your abdomen is your symptom.

Good luck to you.
