Warning TMI...bleeding???
| Sat, 08-30-2003 - 2:53pm |
Ok so AF came on the 16th of Aug. for a week. DH and I have been BDing every other day since then. On Wed. the 28th of August I started bleeding..it was minimal, and then the next day the blood was REALLY dark and stringy. It was just dripping from me to the toilet water. I had to change a pad maybe once a day. So it was not that much, but since it was real dark and thick, I am wondering what it is. Now today, it is the 30th and it seems to be lightening up. It is pink with a few clots. I had mild cramping but not at ALL like AF cramps. Thanks so much for your help!! FYI I will be going to a doctor soon if it keeps up. Have a great day.

When I have AF, it os thick and stringi\y/drippy like you describe, only I need a lot more pads/tampons. I am concerned this is CD12 (?) for you and you are bleeding like that. What kind of BC were you using before TTC? Are you charting (if not, I suggest you start, really helps me figure out what's going on in my body). How long is your usual cycle? How long was last cycle?
Sorry so many questions, just trying to hekp you figure out what is going on.

Tee,
Yes this is cd12 the bleeding has stopped now, it lasted for 3 days. Who knows, I am just praying for the best. How are you doing? Almost time to test in a couple of weeks ehh? Anyway, my cycle is normally 28 days and it was that many last time. I got off the patch "ortho evra", in the beginning of June..I was only on it a week and a half. I was not using BC a real long time before that. DH and I were not bding that much due to problems that are long gone. Thanks for your support!!!

I hope that being on the patch less than a full cycle didn't screw up your cycle. You can start temping mid cycle just to see what's going on, see if you O, etc. I am using thd digital BBT, which makes it very easy.
GL, I hope everything works out. Maybe you should get some bloodwork done to see what's going on with your hormones.
