Is it normal to get CM after ovulation. In fact my CM is coming out much more than it did during Ovulation. Did I get my O date wrong? Or is something else going on? I heard it's a sign of pg, but I"m not sure?

Here's my chart.

I'm not sure the answer, but I have heard that it can be normal to get another "round" of CM, though it may not necessarily be the fertile kind. I am experiencing the same thing - I have 10 times the amount of CM than I usually do during O, but all my hpts so far have been negative. I don't have many + pg symptoms though, so am not terribly hopeful. I'm irregular, so not sure how late I am, just know that I "should" be late. Sorry I can't help more. Would like to know the answer to your question as well!

I am in a similar boat. I had all signs of Oing (minus the brst soreness) on days 12-14. Then around day 23 I started getting another round of CM and EWCM (this time with the usual soreness.) The EWCM this time was more than during O so I took an OPK which for the first time came out seriously +. This is totally confusing me because I have been EXTREMELY tired and emotional and am expecting AF on the 3rd. Hubby and I BDed just in case the OPK was right. I guess I will just have to wait an additional week and a half before taking an HPT. I have also been reading about CM during pregnancy. This change typically occurs during an established pregnancy- not right at the beginning- and is lotiony in nature. So I guess I am as confused as the two of you! Baby dust to all of us!

Well, it figures!! I went to check my fertility signs and noticed some blood inside. (Sorry, TMI) Looks like AF will be here on the 3rd as expected. I am thrilled since it means that after 5 years on the pill and 5 months off, I am finally regular. But I am bummed since I obviously cannot trust the OPK results or my own CM! I still advise BDing anytime you see any good EWCM and don't bother with OPKs! Good luck to you!

In the post-ovulatory phase, it's normal to have another surge of estrogen. This surge causes some days of creamy CM. Some of us have had lots of creamy CM following "O" only to get our AFs (which just happened to me this cycle), while others report it as a pg sign. The bottom line... I wouldn't count on it as a pg sign.

Good luck to you!
