LH and Ovulation Question

Ok I just read on another site that after ovulation if the egg isn't fertilized the LH levels drop. Does this mean then that if you are indeed pregnant and take ovulation tests even after you ovulated it will still show up with the two identical lines?

If the test line is any lighter than the control line, it isn't considered a positive OPK. You have some LH nearly all the time, and can get a line, but it shouldn't be as dark as the control line except near ovulation. If the lines are equally dark or if the test line is darker, that would be considered a positive OPK. It could mean your body makes a high level of LH, which I have heard is common for people with PCOS. I have also heard about OPK being used as a pregnancy test, but I don't know how accurate that is. Is that why you took one at 7 DPO? I would go buy an FRE and try it with FMU and see if you get a positive, its supposed to be the most sensitive HPT.
If you aren't PG, you might mention it to your doctor to make sure it doesn't indicate a problem with your hormone levels.
Good Luck!
