Preseed for lack of EWCM?
| Mon, 09-22-2003 - 4:07pm |
I've seen women mention using Preseed for lubrication because it's sperm friendly. But is it a good idea to use it if you have a lack of EWCM? Is it really that sperm friendly, or is it better to go a-la-natural if lubrication isn't an issue?
Thanks

DH and I have started using PreSeed this cycle... And we both really like how it feels. It's about the consistency of slightly thin EWCM.. It comes in prefilled vials for indivudual use.. just insert and squeeze the contents... it's recommended to wait a few minutes before BDing...
I highly recommend it!
... and praying it does the trick this month.

If you already have enough EWCM, and lub during BD isn't an issue, just go the natural route!
If you have enough enough EWCM, but always need a lubricant during BD, Pre-Seed is your conception-friendly option.
If you don't have enough EWCM, then go the Pre-Seed route too.
Good luck to you!

DH and I have used Pre-seed last cycle and this cycle (just this past week.) 2 of the 4-5 days we usually BD around my O time, I have more than enough EWCM but sometimes the stress of TTC can make it difficult no matter what. Are your cycles normal and all? I wonder if there isn't something that can help increase your EWCM. Nothing can take the absolute place of your natural fluids (i.e. formula vs breastmilk)so hopefully you're having a moderate amount of EWCM. If you don't think you are, you may want to talk with your OB/GYN. Using the Pre-seed won't hurt you in anyway so it's certainly worth trying if you don't feel you have enough lubrication, but when you're referring specifically to EWCM, it would make me wonder and contact my Gynecologist.
