Well...if any of you have been stalking me, you know that I started soy isoflavones this cycle (cd6-10). Keep in mind my previous cycles were 30+ days...much to my surprise....I got what I thought would have been a positive OPK on Sunday night, but the test line wasn't as dark as the control line. So I took it out of my chart. This morning, I tested with FMU..and got a TRUE positive opk!!! YAY!!!!!! the

Thats awesome!! I was a little skeptical about the soy at first, because all of the articles I had found said that it delayed ovulation...I guess that only applies if you continue to take it all the time, instead of just for 5 days like you do with clomid. I am so happy to have found something natural to help bring on O. I knew I would be o'ing sometime this week...I have been having really small o pains since day 2 of the soy, and today during a meeting at work, I got a really strong o pain...so I'm pretty sure today is probably O day!!!!! :) DF is excited too, I woke him up this morning after I got done being excited about my positive opk, and told him about it and he goes "Oh yeah???!!" and had this big smile on his face...sooo cute!!

Lets pray we catch the eggie!!!!!!

Soy is suppose to work like the medicine Clomid. Its suppose to induce ovulation. You take it for about 4-5days in the beginning of your cycle and its suppose to help you ovulate better/sooner. I have really long cycles and I'm trying to shorten them, so I took Soy to try to do so. I think it helped. Its a more natural way of trying to help your body O. Hope that helps!

Soy also helps to make the little bean more sticky.
