Hi ladies,

This is my first real month charting, and I've been pretty consistent with taking my temps at the same time every morning at 5:30.

I don't know if this is right, or even OK - but when that happened to me I averaged them!

I woke up an hour or so early (sick DS) and it was 96.7, then I overslept and was 97.5, so I put into FF 97.1

I usually have pretty steady temps, not up and down at all. When I avg'd the numbers, it fit right in, so I guess its OK. My pre-o temp is 97.0-97.3.

I think what you're supposed to do is use the temp after the most rest you've had. FF defines that as 3 consecutive hours of sleep. If you can't do that, I'd mark the earliest temp and note the disruption so you know that day is wacky. I hate it when life gets in the way of being consistent with this...I wake up frequently all night and rarely sleep for 3 hours straight!
