6th day with +opk, so i called my doc

I am on cd 19 (31 day cycles) and i have been getting very very dark clear +opks since cd13. The test lines are so dark that they show up before the urine has even made it to the control line!!
I called the nurse at my ob/gyns office and she said not to worry about it, it just means that my progesterone levels haven't dropped yet from the LH surge OR it could mean that i am pregnant! She said to continue intercourse every other day until the opk goes negative.
I'm still worried, but not as much. Guess i will have to just wait and see. I will probably test on x-mas eve (even though it could totally ruin my christmas).

I think you might be pregnant!!
This is exactly how I found out I was pregnant! I had several extrememly dark OPK's and this wasn't normal for me.
you don't think it is too early for implantation? I am on cd19 of my 31 day cycle!
oh i so hope you are right!!! :)
Ohhhh i hope it means your pregnant!!!! It would be really early for implantation but crazier things have happend!
I hope you get your christmas miricle!!!
I think anything is possible. I'm being totally honest here, I found out I was pregnant on CD 11 !!! So I obviously conceived in the previous cycle and the bleeding I experienced was either quite heavy for implantation or I just got my period anyway like some people do.
This is also how I found out I was pregnant with my daughter. I thought I was out, since I had regular AF-like bleeding for over a week! So I started using OPKs for the next cycle, and was surprised when it came up positive really early in my cycle. I went out and got an HPT and sure enough, it was positive! I don't know what the cause of the bleeding was, but everything was just fine.
If you have an old HPT around, I would try it just in case you did get pg from last cycle!

I'll be interested to see how this turns out for you!
I'm surprised your doctor didn't want to do a PG test just to rule that out.
Let us know if you test and good luck!
