HELP PLEASE!!!

Okay here is the history of what is going on with me....at 12 dpo I got a super faint BFP on an internet cheapie and since I have had multiple m/c my doctor (army) told me to call and he would put me on Progestrone right away. Well they had me go in for blood work instead to confirm on Weds (still 12 dpo) and it came back a 6. okay they could not explain why I got a faint +++ at a hcg level of 6 but told me to come back today (friday) to again do blood work to see what my numbers are doing...well it came back a 6 again!!! Okay so at this point I am pretty mad, I go and get a clear blue easy +/-, a FRER, an Answer test, and used my internet cheapie...and all are +++++BFP and all with in the time (under 5 minutes).

I am also spotting, yesterday it was a (tmi alart) clump of creamy cm with pink mixed in and then today after I pee'd in the cup to take those 4 tests I wiped and it was a light pinkish/brown creamy mix, but this is only there when I wipe. I did have a temp dip this morning but it is still way above cover line and I actually woke up at 4am sweating and threw the covers off so when I took my temp at 5:30 I was freezing from the sweat.

I am frustrated that my doctor did not call the lab to confirm why my blood work was like that and just to make sure it was not a lab mistake, and mad that the nurse doesnt seem to believe me that I am having all of these positives. I know it could be a chemical pregnancy I guess but I took an internet cheapie test on the 12 dpo and that was faint but today's was much darker.

Okay any feed back or personal experiences with a situation like this would be great. Have any of you had light spotting around the time AF was suppose to show up? Thanks ladies for reading my rang/questions.

Spotting around the time AF is due is normal. Your body is trying to have AF but is trying to adjust to hCG in your system that is telling it you are pregnant.

I hope you have a strong sticky bean!!
Good luck

Hi there!

Sorry to hear you are having this issue must be frustrating to say the least. Although I am unable to answer what you are asking, I was confused about something? How are the hpts picking up on an hcg of 6?

Good luck and kup!

I'm sorry you are going through this and I have to say I find it hard to believe that your beta # stayed the same. I would however be concerned about it being an ectopic pregnancy and again I am surprised that your doctor is not as concerned. Is there a way you can see another OB under your insurance ? I know the military insurance can be a pain but I would definately see about finding another DR and lab to do another round of bloodwork. Especially since the hpt's are getting darker that means that your beta must be changing. HTH and again I'm sorry you have to go through this.

I called the 1 800 numbers on the paper work that comes with the pregnancy tests and they said there was NO way that the test would be picking up that low of an hcg amount. That is what leads me to believe that it is a problem with the lab and not the tests. The nurse called back and talked to my husband and she said the doctor believes that I was getting false Positives on all of those tests.....and yes I called patient care and the representative for them said that I am to come in on Monday and fill out a report and they will speak to the head of OB about getting me referred off of post.

Oh and with the spotting...would the baby asprin I am on cause the spotting?

Thanks everyone

I would be more inclined to think that one or two lab tests were incorrect as opposed to like the 10 tests you did, and all different brands.....That's odd.

I wish you luck though, let us know what happens!
