For peace of mind I stayed in bed for 15mins with a pillow under my hips, it just helps gravity do it's work a little bit, but you can also get right up. If you have a history of UTI's doctors say to get up and try and urinate right after intercourse to help eliminate germs entering the urinary tract, so they don't recommend laying in bed for 15mins in this instance. Your chances are high if you used a position that places sperm as close to the cervix as possible (missionary or something similar) so either way you have a good chance. :)
Me too! I've heard that laying down and not urinating after won't make a difference...but I have a pillow under my hips for at least 15-20 mins. Myth or not, it can't hurt!
I've read that staying lying down for 20-30 mins can help.
But then I've also read that it makes no difference.
I wish you loads of luck.

I just lay down on my left side.
When we're doing it for fun (not around O time) I get up right away and pee.
This cycle I popped in an Instead Cup and elevated my hips for a bit. Then took the Instead cup out the next morning.
Even my dr has me elevate my hips for 15-20 mins after an IUI at his office.
